GRAU DATA and Bechtle conclude partnership

Bechtle has added the GRAU DATA archive software FileLock and the ransomware protection Blocky for Veeam^® to its portfolio

Schwaebisch Gmuend, 28th of May 2020 – The largest German IT system house Bechtle and the specialist for archiving technologies and backup ransomware protection GRAU DATA have decided to cooperate. In the partnership, Bechtle offers the two GRAU DATA solutions FileLock and Blocky for Veeam^® and also offers them in the online shop.

Blocky for Veeam^® was specially developed by GRAU DATA to protect backups against ransomware. With WORM technology, backup data can only be changed by the dedicated backup software using fingerprint authentication methods. All other write access, including that of ransomware, is consistently prevented. Blocky is the last line of defense for Windows systems to prevent data loss.

GRAU DATA FileLock is a platform-independent software archiving solution for storing and archiving data according to the rules of the GoBD, SEC or other compliance guidelines. When writing, data is provided with an unchangeable WORM protection and can then be read without restriction, but can no longer be changed. GRAU DATA FileLock is KPMG certified.
