Ingram Micro expands portfolio with Blocky for Veeam^®

Schwäbisch-Gmünd, 04. March 2024 – Ingram Micro Distribution GmbH welcomes GRAU DATA to its portfolio. The specialist for data protection, data archiving and metadata-driven data search is now making its Blocky for Veeam^® solution available to Ingram Micro’s specialist trade customers in Germany.

Ransomware is one of the biggest potential threats in the digital space and can cause major damage to companies by encrypting their data and backups. The last and most secure line of defense is a protected backup that ransomware cannot access. This is precisely the focus of the cooperation between Ingram Micro and GRAU DATA.

The basis of the Blocky for Veeam^® ransomware protection solution is GRAU DATA WORM technology, which has been tried and tested for many years, combined with a secure fingerprint process that reliably protects backups against deletion and write access and thus against malware. GRAU DATA relies on many years of experience in software development and the marketing of future-oriented innovations.
